Ivaren 5 Tablet is prescribed for:
• Managing stable symptomatic angina pectoris in adults with over 70 heartbeats per minute
• Assisting in the management of chronic heart failure symptoms in adults with a heart rate above 75 beats per minute
• Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor.
• Do not alter or exceed the prescribed dosage without consulting your doctor.
• Consult your doctor before discontinuing this medication.
• Follow the dietary recommendations provided by your doctor.
Ivaren 5 Tablet is taken orally.
Ivaren 5 Tablet may cause the following side effects:
• Luminous phenomena (visual brightness)
• Blurred vision
• Slow heart rate (bradycardia)
• Headache
• Dizziness
Ivaren 5 Tablet contains ivabradine (5 mg), which acts by selectively inhibiting the pacemaker if current in the sinoatrial node. This reduction in heart rate decreases myocardial oxygen demand without affecting blood pressure or cardiac contractility.
Not recommended during pregnancy as it may harm the unborn baby.
This tablet is advised against use for women who are breastfeeding. Discuss potential risks with your doctor.

• Heart Conditions: Not suitable for acute heart failure, unstable angina, cardiogenic shock, or acute myocardial infarction as it could worsen these conditions.
Daily Dosage

Missed Dose

Overdose
