Renvilda D 10 Tablet SR is used for:
• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults through blood sugar control, alongside a healthy diet and exercise.
• Take the tablet with a glass of water.
• Refrain from crushing, chewing, or breaking the tablet.
• Administer at the same time every day to maintain consistent blood glucose control.
• Continue the medication unless instructed otherwise by your doctor.
Renvilda D 10 Tablet SR is taken orally.
Common side effects associated with Renvilda D 10 Tablet SR include:
• Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar)
• Urinary tract infections
• Dizziness
• Nausea
Renvilda D 10 Tablet SR contains two active ingredients:
• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): This sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor reduces glucose reabsorption in the kidneys, promoting glucose excretion through urine, thereby lowering blood sugar levels.
• Vildagliptin (100 mg): A dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, vildagliptin increases incretin hormone levels, stimulating insulin secretion when blood sugar is high and decreasing glucagon release when blood sugar is low.
Renvilda D 10 Tablet SR is advised against use during pregnancy.
