Rosuren Gold 20 Capsule contains three active ingredients:
• Aspirin (75 mg): Acts by irreversibly inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) enzyme, reducing thromboxane A2 production, inhibiting platelet aggregation and preventing blood clots.
• Clopidogrel (75 mg): It is metabolised in the liver to its active form, where it irreversibly binds to the P2Y12 receptor on platelets, inhibiting the ADP-mediated platelet aggregation.
• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): Functions as a competitive inhibitor of the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, crucial for cholesterol synthesis, thereby reducing LDL-C (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol) levels and increasing HDL-C (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol).
