The side effects of this tablet may include:
• Dizziness
• Back pain
• Sinus infection
• Diarrhoea
• Red spots or bumps on the skin
Telniz CT 40 Tablet contains two active ingredients:
• Telmisartan (40 mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of a specific natural substance that tightens them, thereby improving blood flow.
• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): A thiazide-like diuretic that reduces excess fluid by increasing urine output, helping to decrease blood pressure.
This tablet is not advisable during pregnancy. If you are pregnant or planning to conceive, discuss its use with your doctor.
Not recommended during breastfeeding. Consult your doctor to understand potential risks.
It is advisable to avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medicine, as excessive intake can amplify certain side effects and may affect blood pressure control.
