Atorzux 40 Tablet is primarily employed to manage elevated cholesterol levels in the body, thereby potentially reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It falls under the category of medicines known as statins, which are instrumental in controlling lipid levels.
Atorzux 40 Tablet is prescribed for:
• Lowering LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol levels in the bloodstream
• Reducing triglycerides, a form of fat within the blood
• Increasing HDL cholesterol, commonly referred to as 'good' cholesterol
• Mitigating the risk of cardiovascular complications, such as heart attack and stroke, in individuals with type 2 diabetes or coronary artery disease
• Managing inherited hypercholesterolemia, including heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, in adults and children over 10 years of age
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Avoid chewing or crushing the tablet.
• The medicine can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food.

• Continue taking this medicine as advised by your doctor.

Atorzux 40 Tablet contains atorvastatin (40 mg), which acts as follows:

Missed Dose

Overdose
