Dapanux Trio 1000 Tablet is utilised for:
• Enhancing glycaemic control in adults diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
• Maintaining consistent blood glucose levels throughout the day.
• Supporting lifestyle interventions like diet and exercise for optimal diabetes management.
• Take the tablet orally as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, cut, or chew the tablet.
• Ensure you do not exceed the prescribed dosage without consulting your doctor.
• Do not stop taking this medication without prior consultation with your doctor.
Dapanux Trio 1000 Tablet is taken orally.
Dapanux Trio 1000 Tablet may present the following common side effects:
• Genital mycotic infections
• Nasopharyngitis
• Urinary tract infections
• Diarrhoea
• Headache
Dapanux Trio 1000 Tablet contains three active constituents to effectively manage blood glucose levels.
• Dapagliflozin (10 mg): Functions as a sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, reducing glucose reabsorption in the kidneys and resulting in increased glucose excretion via urine.
• Metformin (1000 mg): A biguanide that decreases hepatic glucose production and enhances peripheral insulin sensitivity, improving glucose uptake and utilisation.
• Sitagliptin (100 mg): Acts as a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, increasing insulin synthesis and reducing glucagon levels during hyperglycaemia.
Dapanux Trio 1000 Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before initiating this medication.
It is advised not to use this medication while breastfeeding. Discuss potential risks and benefits with your doctor before commencing this treatment.
Exercise caution when consuming alcohol, as it may potentiate the effects of metformin on lactate metabolism, raising the risk of lactic acidosis.

Not recommended for patients with severe renal impairment or those undergoing dialysis.

• Medicines Reducing Metformin Clearance: Could lead to metformin accumulation in the body.
Drug-Disease Interactions
• Metabolic Acidosis: Contraindicated in patients with acute or chronic metabolic acidosis, including diabetic ketoacidosis.
• Pancreatitis: Caution is advised for individuals with a history of pancreatitis.
Daily Dosage
• Dapanux Trio 1000 Tablet should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage is determined by your doctor depending on your health condition and response to treatment
Missed Dose
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to the time of your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one.
Overdose
• Symptoms of overdose may include nausea and diarrhoea. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected.
