Uses

Esmoease L Capsule is used to manage the following conditions:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

 Peptic ulcers

• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

• Gastric motility disorders

Direction of Use

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Avoid crushing, chewing, or splitting the capsule.

• Follow the dosage as directed by your doctor.

• Check the expiration date before consumption.

 Esmoease L Capsule is taken orally.

Common side effects associated with Esmoease L Capsule include:

• Headache

How it Works?

Esmoease L Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Esomeprazole (40 mg): This component blocks the gastric proton pump enzyme in the stomach, inhibiting the final step of acid production and reducing stomach acidity.

• Levosulpiride (75 mg): As a prokinetic agent, it increases gastric motility by antagonising dopamine D2 receptors, promoting faster acetylcholine release, which enhances gastric emptying and aids in healing oesophageal lesions or ulcers.

Allergy

• Anti-HIV medications: May decrease absorption, reducing their effectiveness.

• Antifungal medicines: Can interfere, diminishing antifungal efficacy.

 Antidepressants: May increase esomeprazole levels, enhancing side effects.

Drug-Food Interactions

• Grapefruit: Increases esomeprazole levels, potentially enhancing side effects.

Drug-Disease Interactions

• Certain tumors like phaeochromocytoma and pituitary prolactinoma: Contraindicated.

• Osteoporosis: Long-term use may increase fracture risk.

• Stomach problems: May worsen symptoms in certain stomach conditions like atrophic gastritis.

Missed Dose

• If you miss a dose of Esmoease L Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.

Overdose
