• Increased Diuresis: By reducing sodium reabsorption, torsemide enhances fluid concentration in the renal tubules, preventing water reabsorption. This results in increased urine output consisting of water, sodium, chloride, and other electrolytes.
• Blood Volume and Pressure Reduction: This increased fluid elimination lowers blood volume and pressure, reducing strain on the heart.
